Do I need to book tickets in advance?
Yes. Advance online booking is highly recommended, especially during peak travel seasons. A limited number of same-day tickets may be available at the Ticket Center in Hohenschwangau, subject to availability.
Can I visit the castle without a guided tour?
No. Neuschwanstein Castle can only be visited as part of an official guided tour.
How long does the guided tour last?
The guided tour lasts approximately 30 minutes.
What happens if I arrive late?
Your ticket is valid only for the scheduled tour time. Late arrivals cannot be guaranteed entry, so please allow plenty of time to reach the castle before your tour begins.
