Step onboard a comfortable bus that will take you out of the Port of Måløy and on a beautiful guided tour through the scenic Nordfjord region.

The magnificent Briksdal Glacier forms part of the Jostedal Glacier National Park and plunges 1200 metres down to the lush, narrow Briksdal Valley below – a spectacular sight that attracts over 300,000 visitors from all over the world each year.

During the drive, our friendly local guide will share fascinating stories and facts about the area, including highlights along the famous Hornindal Lake – Northern Europe’s deepest lake. The bus ride takes approximately 2.5 hours each way, offering plenty of time to relax and enjoy the view.

At Briksdal, you’ll have 2.5 hours to explore. You can either walk the 3 km up to the glacier or buy a ticket for one of the “Troll Cars” that take you most of the way up. We recommend taking the cars up and walking down for the best experience.

At the visitor center, you can enjoy a delicious cake buffet and coffee – eat as much as you like! You’ll also find a café serving lunch and drinks, as well as a souvenir shop.
