Arrival
At arrival Briksdal you can either walk the 3 km up to the glacier or you can buy a ticket with one of the “Troll Cars” that will take you there. We recommend to use the cars up and walk down. Please note that “Troll Cars” have limited availability and we recommend to book this in advance at this page.
You will arrive Briksdal approx. 1h 45min after departure time from Nordfjordeid. So you can book Troll car 110 minutes after departure from Hellesylt. For example departure Hellesylt 13:00, book Troll car earliest 14:50.
Note that from the point the Troll Cars stops, it is a 500 meter walk to the lake in front of the glacier.
You will have 2,5 hours to spend in Briksdalen before the bus returns to Port of Hellesylt.
You can enjoy the buffet of cake/coffee at any time you want during the stop.
